Bhavan this evening and no one was injured in the incident, fire brigade officials said.
The blaze was reported from the building on Parliament Street near Patel Chowk at around 6:50 pm and fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
The fire broke out in an air conditioner pipe apparently due to a short circuit, they said.
