A 17-year-old girl was allegedly abducted by an unidentified youth here, police said today.
According to a police spokesperson, Pradeep Sharma, a resident of Bihar, lodged a complaint that his minor daughter was abducted by the youth here on Monday.
A case has been registered against the youth in this connection, they said.
In another incident, Savitri Devi, a resident of Surdas colony lodged a complaint that her 23-year-old daughter had gone to buy vegetables at Sai market last evening, but did not return. The family searched for her for but she could not be found, police said.
Later, investigations revealed that Naresh, a resident of Karnal and one Usha abducted the woman, they said.
A case been been registered in this regard and further probe is on, they added.
Meanwhile, Manoj Kumar, a resident of Agvanpur, lodged a complaint that his 17-year-old sister was abducted by one Monu, a resident of Om Enclave on Monday, police said.
