An eight-year-old girl was
electrocuted here when a broken live wire fell on her while she was playing, police said today.
The incident occurred in Bagthar village in Baseri police station area yesterday when the girl was playing outside the house of her grandfather.
A live wire passing overhead broke and fell on her and she got electrocuted, police said.
A buffalo also died in the incident, they said, adding the body of the girl was handed over to family members after postmortem.
