A six-year-old girl, who was missing since yesterday, was found dead near a creek in western suburbs today, police said.
The body was found in afternoon at INS Hamla area in Malwani.
The girl had been missing since 4 PM yesterday, police said, adding the deceased was a resident of slum in Malwani area.
A case of murder has been registered against unknown persons at Malwani police station, said police.
The body was sent for postmortem to ascertain whether she was raped, police said.
