A minor girl was gang raped in Bhaluwahi village of Bihar's Kaimur district, police said today.
One person identified as Ajay Yadav has been arrested in connection with the incident, Superintendent of Police Ratnamani Sanjeev said.
He said the girl who had come to her relative's house in the village was returning home in a vehicle arranged by her kin. A relative of the driver also sat in the vehicle midway and the two deliberately delayed the journey, the SP said.
After darkness descended they parked the vehicle on roadside and gang raped the girl in the vehicle on late Sunday evening, Sanjeev said.
On arriving home the girl narrated the entire episode to her mother who lodged a police complaint.
The SP said that the vehicle has been seized and search is on for the second accused.
