A 14-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly kidnapped by a youth in Chrick village of Punjab's Moga district today, police said.
Acting on a complaint lodged by the victim's father, the police registered a case against the youth under relevant sections of the IPC.
The accused was identified as Baljit Singh.
According to the complainant, the accused kidnapped the minor girl after luring her with the promise of marriage, the police said.
