According to police, the child died on the spot and the injured included critically wounded two children and a woman.
All victims are from one family and were returning to their home in Gurgaon from Delhi when the accident took place.
The four men in the other car might have escaped unhurt and fled away from the spot, police said.
Eyewitnesses informed the police that the occupants in that car were in an inebriated condition when the accident happened.
