: A 16-year-old girl was killed when a roadside treee fell on the motorbike she was riding on with her male relative at Narath near Kannur today, police said.
Nahata and her relative Faisal (25) were on their way to Valapattinam for her higher secondary course admission when the mishap occurred around 3.30 PM near a Public Health Centre.
She was rushed to a private hospital in Kannur where she succumbed to injuries. Faisal was discharged after treatment, they said.
