A minor orphan girl was allegedly raped repeatedly by three persons since April this year in South Goa, 50 kms from here, police said today.

The 15-year-old victim is a ninth grade student in a village school in Quepem town, where she was sexually assaulted between April-June 2015 several times, her complaint to the police said yesterday.

"We have registered a case of rape and recorded the statement of the victim. The accused are yet to be arrested. We are ascertaining certain facts," police inspector Pravin Gawas said.

Gawas said one of the accused might be a juvenile but the police are yet to interrogate them.

"Only after the investigations, we will be able to disclose the names and age of the accused," he added.
