The girl was allegedly raped at Karamdihi village on January 22 when the youth, who was a neighbour, forcibly took her away from her home when she was alone and raped her, police said.
The youth fled from the village after the incident.
The victim's family lodged an FIR with the police yesterday and the youth was arrested today.
He was produced before the court, which rejected his bail petition and sent him to jail.
