A 13-year-old girl was today allegedly raped and killed by unidentified persons in Colonelganj area here, police said.
The incident took place when the girl had gone to the fields and was caught by some persons who allegedly raped and killed her, they said.
The semi-nude body of the girl was recovered by her family members who had gone looking for her when she did not return home, police said.
The matter is being probed and no arrests have so far been made so far, they added.
