A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered by an unidentified person in Dewa area here, police said today.
The body was found from an isolated area and prima facie it appears that she was raped before being strangulated yesterday, they said.
The body has been send for post mortem and the matter being investigated, police said.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a 15-year-old girl was raped in Kothi area here, they said.
