A 10-year-old girl who was allegedly working in the house of a senior-level employee of a multi-national firm was rescued by the Cyberabad police here today.
The girl belongs to Yavatmal district of Maharashtra, police said.
She was rescued and produced before the district Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Deputy Commissioner of Police (Madhapur Zone) Vishwa Prasad told PTI tonight.

As per the preliminary investigation, the couple -- the husband working as a 'scientist' at an MNC -- had brought the girl with them to Hyderabad to take care of their two children.
Asked if any case has been registered, DCP Prasad said police will take further action as per the CWC's directives.
"The couple said she is daughter of a relative. We are verifying this," he said.
