A 11-year-old boy was killed when he was hit by a van at Jalalabad near Moga-Jalandhar road, police said today.
The incident occurred last evening when Happy was going to the brick kiln where his parents work, they said.
After being hit by van, the boy was taken to civil hospital first and then he was referred to Guru Gobind Singh Medical college and hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
A case has been registered against van driver, Pritam Singh, resident of Muktsar, police said.
