The incident came to light after the girl's father lodged a complaint with the police yesterday.
According to the FIR, Nisikanta Barik (35), a father of two of Barunia village, had forcibly taken the 16-year-old girl on his motorcycle.
He had repeatedly raped her during the last twelve days at different places and finally dumped her near Barunia hill on Thursday night and fled from the scene, the FIR said.
The girl apprised her parents about the incident after reaching home and also told them that the accused had warned her of dire consequences if she revealed it to anyone, according to the complaint lodged by the victim
