A minor girl was allegedly
raped by her tutor in Islamnagar area here, police said today.
The 8-year-old girl was raped yesterday when she went to take tuition from the private teacher, aged around 28 years, they said.
The accused has been arrested by the police.
The matter came to light when the girl started shouting and passers-by heard. They caught the teacher and beat him badly before handing him to the police.
