A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped
by a youth in Danoda village in the district when she had gone to collect fodder in a field, police said today.
Sanjay (24) of the same village raped the girl and threatened her and her family members of dire consequences if they reported the matter to anyone, police said.
The medical examination of the victim, conducted at the general hospital in Narwana, has confirmed rape, they said.
On a complaint by the victim's family members, a case has been registered against Sanjay, who is absconding, police said.
