The victim had gone to fields when the accused Vipin forced himself on her on January 8, police said today.
According to the family members, initially police did not register their complaint and it was after they approached the higher authorities that an FIR was lodged.
Medical examination of the girl has been conducted and a hunt to nab the accused was on.
