A 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted allegedly by a staffer at a government hospital here today.
The police arrested the 24-year-old accused employed as a warden at the government hospital in outer Delhi's Mongolpuri area and a case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act, a senior police official said.
The incident took place at around 2 AM, following which police was informed. The girl was attending to her brother who is admitted in the hospital, police said.
In her complaint, the girl told police that the accused allegedly convinced her to accompany him to a vacant ward where he forced himself upon her, the official said.
