Singer Miranda Lambert has topped the list of nominees at the 48th annual Country Music Association awards with nine nods.
Lambert, 30, matched her own 2010 record for number of nominations in a year, reported ABC news.
This year she is nominated in categories including Female Vocalist of the Year as well as Entertainer of the Year, and in that latter category she'll be up against Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, country music icon George Strait and her husband, Blake Shelton.

Among the other nominees this year are Dierks Bentley, who has five nominations, including for Male Entertainer of the Year and Music Video of the Year, and the Zac Brown Band, which is nominated in the Vocal Group of the Year category.
Lambert is contending against Taylor Swift, Martina McBride, Kacey Musgraves and Carrie Underwood in Female Vocalist of the Year category.
The awards will be broadcast live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on November 5. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will host the event.
