Actor Mirando Otto has joined the cast of Netflix yet-untitled "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" TV series.

The streaming giant recently gave a 20-episode and two-season order to the series, which will be based on the Archie Comics graphic novel "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina".

The story focuses on Sabrina Spellman as a teenager in the '60s dealing with the occult and the Hellish consequences of witchcraft.

The "Lord of the Rings" alum will play the character of Zelda Spellman, who is Sabrinas sterner witch aunt, Netflix said in a press release.

Proud and devout, Zelda believes there is no greater honour than serving the Dark Lord as a member of the Church of Night. She is the family's disciplinarian, fiercely protective of Sabrina, and very much Cain to Hilda's Abel.

The 50-year-old actor joins Kiernan Shipka, who is playing the lead role of Sabrina, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez and Jaz Sinclair in the project.

The series will be penned by Robert Aguirre-Sacasa, who will also serve as the executive producer, with "Riverdale" director Lee Toland Krieger helming it.
