Missing Bhiwandi bizman murdered?

A powerloom owner from Bhiwandi in Thane district who has been missing since last fortnight is suspected to have been murdered by at least four persons, police said today.

"Rajamallu Mallayya Alluwalla (47), who owns two powerloom units and has partnerships in other units, was allegedly abducted by four persons on August 27 and is not traceable since then," said inspector C R Chavan of Bhiwandi City police station.

He said that Alluwalla's family members has given names of four suspects saying they have killed the businessman in a bid to grab his property and dumped his body in a dam at Khadavali near Titwala township.
 

Police have registered a case against Vinod Ravi Kundarpu, Ravi, Anil Mohanrao Balla and Arsha under section 365 (kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person) of IPC on the complaint of Alluwalla's son Navin, and are looking for them.

Chavan said a team of police personnel and firmen is dispatched to Titwala to trace the body.
