A boy who had gone missing over two years ago has been reunited with his family in Badaun, in an operation launched by Delhi Police this year.
Narveer had gone missing from Model Town area when he was 8-years-old. He was admitted to a children's home in Bulandshahar in September 2012 where he told authorities that his parents lived somewhere in Delhi, said Veenu Bansal, DCP of North East district police.
Later, he was shifted to a children's home in Mansarovar Park at Delhi in March 2014 and his description was matched with photographs and data available which matched with a child reported missing from Model Town area, the official said.

According to an FIR registered at Model Town police station it was found that he was missing from GT Karnal Road and his parents lived in a village in Badaun district, he said.
Finally, father of the missing child, Pancham, was contacted by the local police in his village. He was then reunited with his missing son in presence of the members of the child welfare committee, the officer said.
