Missing girls reunited with parents

Two girl students of a city-based college, who went missing since February 1 and were traced at Shoranur in Kerala on February 4, were brought here by a team of police from Mangaluru North police station, police said here today.

The girls, who are II PUC students at St Aloysius College, had been entrusted to the custody of their parents.

On getting information from Shoranur, police posted their photos on social media sites before visiting the place and took them into custody.

They had not taken their mobile phones with them making it difficult for the police to trace them, they added.
 

The police further said the girls were dejected at the results of their previous examinations in which they scored low marks andwanted to discontinue studies.
