Two girl students of Kendriya Vidyalaya who went missing on Monday were today traced to Patna, the police said.

Stuti, a Class 9 student, and Anjali, a Class 10 student, left home at 7 pm to get photocopies of their project and did not return home, they said.

Their parents had lodged a complaint with the Kasna Police Station and a case was registered, they said.

"The missing girls, Anjali and Stuti, have been found in in Patna. They had called their parents and informed them that they were in Danapur. One of the girl's relative lives there. The parents have gone to bring them back," SP (Rural) Suniti Singh said.

Danapur is a satellite town of Patna in Bihar.

"Once they are back we will be able to know how they reached there. It is very sensitive as the matter related to girls. Police have to tread very cautiously,"she said.

Stuti's father works as a scientist at the NIC and Anjali's father works in a private company.
