A teenager of Pakistani-origin missing for two days has been found "safe and well" in south- east England.

Nisha Mazhar, 13, had gone missing from her home in Woking on Sunday and was found at a shopping centre at Guildford in Surrey late yesterday.

We would "like to thank the media and members of the public for their help in the search for Nisha", Surrey Police said in a statement.

Mazhar had been last caught on CCTV camera at Woking station on Sunday and her disappearance was described as "out of character".

Her parents Mazhar Iqbal and Shazia Najib had issued an appeal for her to return home: "Nisha, we all love you. We are not angry, we just need to know that you are safe and well.

"We want you to come home. Please contact the police, family, friends, anyone. Please just let us know you are safe. We are extremely worried.
