Body of a Sikh youth who went missing about two weeks ago, was fished out from river Jhelum in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, police said today.
Anoop Singh (29), a resident of Shalpora village of Rafiabad, was reported missing by his family on April 10 prompting the police to launch a hunt, they said.
The search for the missing youth ended last night when police fished out his body from the river.
After completing legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his kin for last rites, police said adding efforts are on to ascertain the cause of his death.
