Mitsubishi's President & CEO Ken Kobayashi meets PM

President and CEO of Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation Ken Kobayashi today called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and briefed him about the business activities of the multinational in India.

Kobayashi met the Prime Minister and gave an overview of the activities of Mitsubishi Corporation, in India, said a press statement.

The meeting could be seen as an initiative by the company for increasing its presence across different sectors in the India.

According to the information provided on its official website, Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) is a global integrated business enterprise that develops and operates businesses across virtually every industry including environmental and infrastructure business, industrial finance, energy, metals, machinery, chemicals and foods.
 

The Corporation has more than 200 offices and subsidiaries in around 90 countries worldwide and a network of over 600 group companies. It has a multinational workforce of over 60,000 people.

It has interest in various sectors, including information technology, oil and gas in India which is the second largest market in the world after China.
