Mittal takes over as new CPWD DG

Mittal joined as Assistant Executive Engineer in 1975 and in his career spanning 36 years, he has been mainly associated with construction projects.

He worked on a railway project in Iraq was part of the planning and development of the National Centre for Agricultural Extension Management campus at Hyderabad besides planning various flyovers in the capital.

As chief engineer of MAP Project, he was been involved in construction of houses for married personnel of Ministry of Defence in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.

He was also been involved in border fencing, roads and flood lighting projects along Pakistan and Bangladesh borders in the capacity of Additional Director General (Border). PTI AJD
