Mixed trend in foodgrains market

Barring sooji, price of which rose marginally, prices of tur dal, urad dal, moong dal and wheat declined during the week in the wholesale foodgrains market here.

The prices of gram dal, sugar and maida ruled steady.

Sooji opened the week at Rs 2,600, an increase of Rs 50 from its closing rates of Rs 2,550 to end at its opening rate.

Tur dal and wheat opened at Rs 7,000 and Rs 2,400 per quintal, Rs 100 less from its previous rate of Rs 7,100 and Rs 2,500 and closed at its opening rates of Rs 7,000 and Rs 2,400 respectively.
 

Urad dal and moong dal began the week at Rs 7,200 and Rs 9,600, a decrease of Rs 200 per quintal from its closing rates of Rs 7,400 and Rs 7,800 respectively.

Both urad dal and moong dal closed the week at Rs.7,200 and Rs.7,600 respectively.

Gram dal at Rs 3,900, Sugar at Rs 3,000 and Maida (90 kg) at Rs 2,400 ruled steady throughout the week.
