Mixed trend in sugar mill gate prices on upbeat demand

Sugar mill gate prices showed a mixed trend today at the wholesale market in the national capital with the prices of select mills rising on pick up in demand, while a few others remaining lower on lack of support.

Meanwhile, sugar spot and delivery prices ruled quiet on some support from retailers and bulk consumers.

Marketmen said increased offtake by stockists and bulk

consumers, pushed prices of select sugar mills.

In price section, Sugar Sakoti and Shamli mills strengthened by Rs 25 each to Rs 2,700 and Rs 2,710, followed by Malakpur by rising Rs 20 to Rs 2,695 and Dorala gained by Rs 15 to Rs 2,715 per quintal.

 

In contrast, sugar Simbholi slipped the most by Rs 25

to Rs 2,735, followed by Dhampur by Rs 15 at Rs 2,660. Asmoli

too eased by Rs 10 to Rs 2,755 per quintal.

Sugar retail markets - Rs 30.00-33.00 per kg.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,880-2,980, S-30 Rs 2,870-2,970.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,670-2,780, S-30 Rs 2,660-2,770.

Sugar millgate (including duty): Mawana Rs 2,705, Kinnoni Rs 2,780, Asmoli Rs 2,755, Dorala Rs 2,715, Budhana Rs 2,710, Thanabhavan Rs 2,700, Dhanora Rs 2,765, Simbholi Rs 2,735, Khatuli Rs 2,760, Dhampur Rs 2,660, Sakoti 2,700, Modinagar 2,695, Shamli 2,710, Malakpur 2,695, Ramala not available, Anupshaher N.A, Baghpat N.A.,Morna N.A., Chandpur N.A., Nazibabad N.A and Nanota N.A.
