Mixed trend in sugar mill prices

Mixed conditions prevailed at the wholesale sugar market in the national capital today as prices of select mills inched up to Rs 10 per quintal on better offtake, while a few others eased up by Rs 15 per quintal on ample supplies from mills.

Marketmen said selective buying activity helped prices of select mills to rise.

Sugar mill delivery M-30 and S-30 prices enquired higher at Rs 3,535-3,655 and Rs 3,525-3,645 instead of Rs 3,530-3,650 and Rs 3,520-3,640 per quintal.

In the millgate section, sugar Nazibabad rose the most by Rs 10 to Rs 3,545, while Simbholi, Kinnoni and Anupshaher moved up by Rs 5 each to Rs 3,630, Rs 3,655 and Rs 3,545 per quintal.
 

On the other hand, sugar Simbholi dropped by Rs 15 to Rs 3,595, while Sakoti, Dhampur and Chandpur lost Rs 10 each to Rs 3,590, Rs 3,565 and Rs 3,590 per quintal.

Sugar retail markets - Rs 40.00-43.00 per kg.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,850-3,920, S-30 Rs 3,840-3,910.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,535-3,655, S-30 Rs 3,525-3,645.

Sugar millgate (including duty): Mawana Rs N.Q., Kinnoni Rs 3,655, Asmoli Rs 3,630, Dorala Rs 3,610, Budhana Rs 3,610, Thanabhavan Rs 3,605, Dhanora Rs 3,630, Simbholi Rs 3,630, Khatuli Rs 3,630, Dhampur Rs 3,565, Ramala Rs 3,545, Anupshaher Rs 3,545, Baghpat Rs 3,550, Morna Rs 3,545, Sakoti Rs 3,590, Chandpur Rs 3,590, Nazibabad Rs 3,545, Modinagar N.Q., Shamli 3,595 and Nanota 3,545.
