Price of urad dal increased while prices of gram dal, sugar decreased, prices of rest of the commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.
Urad dal rose by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs.6,700 from Rs.6,500.
Prices of gram dal,sugar was down by Rs.50 per quintal to Rs.5,950 and Rs.3,900 from Rs.6,000 and Rs.3,950 respectively.
Prices of thoor dal,moong dal,wheat,maida(90 kg) and sooji (90 kg) ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 6,900, Urad Dal Rs 6,700, Moong Dal Rs 7,000, Gram Dal Rs 5,950, Sugar Rs 3,900, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,600 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
