Mixed trend prevailed in the market.

Prices of thoor dal,moong dal and sooji(90 kg) increased and sugar decreased while prices of the rest of the commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.

Thoor dal rose by Rs.300 per quintal to Rs.6,800 from Rs.6,500.

Moong dal was up by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.6,800 from Rs.6,700.

Sooji (90 kg) was more by Rs.200 to Rs.3,200 from Rs.3,000.

Sugar was marginally down by Rs.20 per quintal to Rs.4,080 from Rs.4,100.

Urad dal,gram dal,wheat and maida(90 kg) prices ruled steady.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 6,800, Urad Dal Rs 7,500, Moong Dal Rs 6,800, Gram Dal Rs 7,000, Sugar Rs 4,080, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
