Mixed trend prevailed till this weekend

Prices of wheat, maida (90 kg) and and sooji (90 kg) increased while urad dal and gram dal decreased at the wholesale foodgrains market during the week that ended here today.

Rest of the commodities prices ruled steady.

Wheat prices marginally increased by Rs 50 per quintal on the opening day to Rs 3,000 from Rs 2,950 and its price at Rs 3,000 ruling steady till this week.

On the opening day maida (90 kg) at Rs 2,700 was Rs 100 more than its closing rate of Rs 2,600 and closed the week at its opening rate of Rs 2,700.
 

Sooji (90 kg) at Rs 3,400 was Rs.200 more than its last finishing rate of Rs 3,200 and closed the week at the same opening rate(Rs 3,400).

Urad dal was down by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 10,500 from Rs 10,800 and maintained the same rate(Rs 10,500) till today.

Gram dal decreased by Rs.400 per quintal to Rs.11,800 from Rs.12,200 and finished this week at Rs.11,600.

Thoor dal (Rs.11,200), moong dal(Rs.7,200) and sugar (Rs.3,900) ruled steady throghout this week.
