The prices of sugar, wheat and maida increase while those of tur dal, urad dal and moong dal decreased in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.
Sugar rose marginally by Rs 20 from its previous rates of Rs 3,230 per quintal to Rs 3,250.
The price of wheat increased by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 2,400 from Rs 2,300.

Maida (90 kg) increased by Rs 50 to Rs 2,400 from Rs 2,350.
Moong dal fell sharply by Rs 400 per quintal to Rs 8,800 from its previous rates of Rs 9,200.
Tur dal and urad dal was low by 100 per quintal to Rs 7,000 and Rs 78,00 from its last rates of Rs 7,100 and Rs 7,900, respectively.
Gram dal and Sooji ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri- commodities (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,000 Urad Dal Rs 7,800 Moong Dal Rs 8,800 Gram Dal Rs 3,800 Sugar Rs 3,250 Wheat Rs 2,400 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,500.
