who was in Delhi attending the meeting on internal security yesterday, met Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and discussed the state's financial problems.
An official statement today said that Lal Thanhawla met Singh after the internal security meeting and also discussed with the Prime Minister different developmental projects in Mizoram.
"Lal Thanhawla invited Singh to lay the foundation stone of Sainik School at Chhingchhip which Singh accepted," the statement said adding that the date of laying the foundation would be fixed later.
