The Mizoram Board of School Education today declared the class 10 results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2018 in which 76.65 per cent students were successful.
A total of 18,355 candidates took the exam of whom 9,547 were girls and 8,788 boys.
The number of students achieving distinction was at 1,068 while 3,725 students passed with first division.
A total of 5,107 students secured second division and 3,663 passed with third division.
The deficit schools, mainly managed by churches, notched a pass percentage of 92.55 per cent, followed by lumpsum schools and private schools at 81.46 per cent and 79.91 per cent, respectively.
The government high schools recorded a 72.07 per cent pass percentage.
While 105 schools recorded 100 per cent success rate, all the candidates of 15 schools were unsuccessful.
