MLA's sit-in enters day two

Sit-in by a BJP MLA to protest rape of a class ten student in Khajuwala area here entered the second day today.

A large number of people, including women, participated in the sit-in by MLA Vishwanath demanding a fair probe into the rape case.

The legislator asked the district administration to take effective measures in curbing crime.

Protesting the rape incident, some persons stormed the Khajuwala Police Station but the situation was brought under control.

A class 10 student was allegedly raped by her school driver in the area recently.
