State-run trading firm MMTC today reported a net profit of Rs 43.84 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had reported a net loss of Rs 10.08 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company increased to Rs 4,884.99 crore during July-September period of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 2,511.79 crore in the same quarter last year.
The MMTC scrip closed at Rs 42.20, down 2.31 per cent on BSE.
