A mob torched a min-truck and attacked fire brigade employees when they went to douse the fire after a boy was run over and killed by the mini-truck at Bijpur in North 24 Parganas district today, police sources said.
The boy a class II student was run over and killed by the mini-truck, the sources said.
After the boy's death, a mob gathered on the spot and torched the min-truck, they said.
A fire brigade team which went to the spot to douse the fire was attacked by the mob injuring some fire brigade employees, the sources said.
