Mobile based security solution developed for NIA

Technopark-based start-up company MobME Wireless Ltd has developed the Mobile-based Crime and Incident Reporting Platform (MCIRP) for the NIA, a company release said here today.

The project has been funded by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), the release stated.

The platform developed with the support of DSIR can send information in a secure and efficient manner, Loknath Behera, Inspector General, NIA, said.

Twenty five Motorola Defy-Smartphones were also handed over to NIA as part of the project, the release said.
