Mobile phones, cash looted in separate incidents in Noida

Armed men robbed a collection agent of Rs 85,000 near Shahpur village here while reports of mobile phone being stolen were also reported in the city, the police said today.

Narendra, a Ladpura resident and who works as a collection agent, was going to Dadri after collecting cash from liquor shops in Jarcha when some armed men robbed him, they said.

An case has been registered after the victim filed a complaint with the police, the police said.

There were also incidents of unidentified persons stealing mobile phones, cash and garments.

While 20 mobile phones, Rs 5,000 and other goods were stolen from a mobile phone shop in Hoshiarpur here, one Chiranjiv Upadhyay had complained that two mobile phones and readymade garments were stolen from his car in Sector 76 yesterday, they said.
