A mobile phone was seized from a prisoner lodged at the Nimka jail in the district, police said today.
During a surprise inspection at the jail yesterday, a mobile phone was seized from an inmate, Deputy Superintendent of Nimka jail said.
A case has been registered and the matter is being investigated, police said.
