Mobile suspectedly belonging to Maoists seized by police

Police today seized a mobile phone suspectedly belonging to Maoists who triggered the landmine blast near a culvert at Majhaulia village in Gaya district yesterday killing eight persons, including six policemen.
According to police sources, a woman from the village found the mobile phone suspectedly belonging to Maoists from the crime site and police seized it from her.
During inspection of the mobile, it came to light that the SIM card belonged to a resident of Chatra district in neighbouring Jharkhand state, the sources said.
Bihar police have informed its counterparts in Chatra regarding it, the sources said.
Maoists used Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) to blast a jeep at Koili culvert yesterday.
