Consumer data company Mobilewalla today began its commercial operations in India from its headquarters in Kolkata.
The company claims that its platform is an essential resource for major B2C (Business-to-Consumer) enterprises, especially in telecomm, retail, consumer packaged goods, and financial services, a company statement said.
"India has emerged as one of the largest middle consumer economies in the world, offering a fertile ground for B2C enterprises. While the growing importance of data for businesses to engage with the highly diversified Indian market cannot be understated, India is remarkably availability-challenged in this respect," Mobilewalla CEO & Founder Anindya Datta said.
Mobilewalla collects data from 31 different countries, and has offices in several countries.
