The police today served a notice to actor Vikram Chatterjee in connection with its probe into the accident involving his car in which model and TV host Sonika Chauhan was killed.
According to a senior officer of Tollygunge Police Station, Vikram, who was himself injured in the accident and admitted to a hospital, was handed the notice to appear before the investigating officer within three days.
Vikram was this afternoon released from the private nursing home where he was undergoing treatment.

The police started a suo motu case against the actor and was trying to talk to the actor to get a clear picture of the reasons behind the accident.
Vikram has been booked for rash driving, causing death by negligence and causing grievous hurt by endangering personal safety of others.
Last Saturday at around 4.30AM, the car with Vikram on the wheel and Sonika seated on the front seat swerved and crashed into the pavement while allegedly over-speeding along south Kolkata's Rashbehari Avenue.
