Light to moderate rainfall occurred at most places of Bihar, the MeT Department said today.
Heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places in the northwest and northeast parts of the state, it said.
Patna registered 4 mm of rainfall today and Purnea registered 1.7 mm of rainfall, it said.

Patna recorded the maximum temperature at 34.3 degrees Celsius, followed by 34.1 degrees Celsius in Gaya, 34 and 33 degrees Celsius in Bhagalpur and Purnea respectively.
In its forecast for the next 24 hours, the Department predicted it would be generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea.
