Moderate to heavy showers lashed several places in Rajasthan with Khirneshar receiving the maximum rainfall in the desert state at 6 cm in the past 24 hours.
Southwest monsoon got further intensified over western districts of Jaisalmer, Barmer, Churu and Jodhpur where maximum rainfall ranged between 1.8 mm to 19 mm, Met office said here.
Meanwhile, the north-east and southern parts in the state continued to receive moderate to heavy rainfall with Sujangarh, Thanagaji, Sapotra, Udaipur-wati, Tonk and Nagar recording rainfall of 5 cms each.

Heavy downpours will continue in the entire state in next forty-eight hours, a forecast said.
