Bihar today received moderate rainfall at most places across the state, the Met department said.
Light to moderate rainfall occurred at a few places in south-east and north-west parts, while heavy rainfall was reported from one or two places in north-east and north-central Bihar, it said.
The Met department said in its forecast that Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea would witness a generally cloudy sky with light rainfall in the next 24 hours.

Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius, while Gaya and Bhagalpur recorded maximum temperatures of 34.2 and 33 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The maximum humidity level in the morning ranged between 77 to 92 per cent in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea, while in the evening it was recorded between 63 to 85 per cent in these cities, the Met office said.
